Workshop 1.2: Funding possibilities for transnational and innovative software projects
During this session, you will be able to learn more about Eureka, Eurostars-3, ITEA and the funding outlook in Austria. You can also interact with the panellists who will share how they benefitted from international collaboration in R&D projects.
Eureka is a platform and network aiming to provide tailored funding programmes to best support international R&D. Eurostars-3 and ITEA are two such programmes.
Eurostars-3 is part of the European Partnership on Innovative SMEs. The partnership is co-funded by the European Union through Horizon Europe. Eurostars-3 is the largest international funding programme for SMEs wishing to collaborate on R&D projects that create innovative products, processes or services for commercialisation. Partners from SMEs, universities and research centres from any of the programme’s 37 participating countries can join consortia.
ITEA is the Eureka R&D&I Cluster fostering software innovation and enabling a large international community of large industry, SMEs, start-ups, academia and customer organisations, to collaborate in funded projects that turn innovative ideas into new businesses, jobs, economic growth and benefits for society. ITEA has a yearly Call for projects, and its bottom-up project creation ensures that project proposals are industry-driven and based on actual customer needs.
